A Pretty Pair

My partners 94 year old Grandma kindly gave me some of her beautiful bone china teacup and saucers. Amongst the collection was this really pretty one, I just love the simplicity of the floral design:

Last week on a trip round the charity shops, I found an identical cup! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it and it was an absolute bargain at 25 pence:

I couldn't wait to get it home to check it was the same and it was, they are a perfect match - what are the chances?? And its now my favourite cup for drinking tea from, there is something lovely about having a cuppa from a bone china cup!

I recently told you I was thinking of having Exposed Kitchen Shelves and I'm glad to say they are almost finished! I just need to play around with the display and get some cup hooks for all my lovely new teacups! Here is a sneek preview:

Hopefully it won't be too long before I can reveal my new kitchen to you!!

Thank you for reading xx

  1. Personally I love to drink from fine bone china and if it is from a teacup and saucer then even better! Happy tea drinking!
Look forward to your kitchen reveal!
