If you haven't tried it yet then I would definitely recommend it, its so easy to use, it really does stick to anything and it dries really fast so a few coats can be done in the same day. It also washes really easily out of the brushes.
That's enough of me telling you how good it is, here are some before and after pictures to show you how fab it is:
Child's wooden chair, see the full post here.
Dining room chairs - I have only done the back pieces up to now, trying to decide whether to do the whole thing. I love mismatched chairs in a kitchen, so may paint them different colours, will see!
Oval mirror which looks lovely in our downstairs toilet. I don't have a before picture for this one but it was previously gold and a bargain at £10 from a charity shop.
I love this clock which I bought on ebay.
And LOTS and LOTS of frames!
Are you a fan? Have you tried mixing colours? I would like to try that next.
Thank you for reading xxx
Wow! I love it! Do you have to do much prep before using the paint? Mandy x
ReplyDeleteHello Mandy, no prep is needed, that's what is so great about it! It will paint over any surface! Tracy x
DeleteWow! I think i will have to give it a go! Mandy x
DeleteTracy I love AS paint. I am a recent convert but its amazing. I have just painted a shelving unit which is going in our spare bedroom over the weekend along with a couple of other transformations. It is a little expensive but a little does seem to go a long way.
ReplyDeleteIt is fab stuff!! I recently watered mine down to make it go further and I actually prefer the feel of the finish now xx
DeleteThe mirror looks fab :) I use home-made chalk paint for everything in my house; just mix some plaster of Paris powder into regular paint and TA-DA. xxx
ReplyDeleteHello, thank you! Wow- you can make your own! I had no idea! Your list of talents is endless :) xx
DeleteNever used chalk paint before. It looks great. Where have I been.
ReplyDeleteRosezeeta.
I would definitely recommend it :) xx
