I have been looking on pinterest for inspiration on how to display artwork and storage ideas:
Follow Tracy @IHeartHome's board I Heart...Kids Decor on Pinterest.
I have also set up a pinterest board for 'shared bedrooms' to look for layout ideas. What would I do without Pinterest???
Here are my ideas so far:
Framed Art:
Curtain rods and pegs:
Washi tape:
Art wall:
Picture Ledges:
All images from Pinterest
Which is your favourite? How do/did you display your children's artwork? We have a couple of bits on the fridge and then some in the bedroom (and some in the recycling ahem) so would be nice to make a feature of it.
Hopefully won't be long before I can show you the finished bedroom, think I need a trip to Ikea!
Thank you for reading xx
I love the first picture from pinterest with the art in frames. We too have some on the fridge and filed in the big green container outside! I save the best bits for their memory boxes.
ReplyDeleteHaha, we can only save so much! I put mothers day cards etc away but agree the frames are a nice way to show off their work! X
DeleteOh goodness!!! Love them all and this project is on my list as well!!! So like that first shot!! Can't wait to see what you do!
ReplyDeleteI love them all too, showing off their work is a lovely way to encourage them, think I will let them choose which will go on the wall :) Good luck getting yours done xx
DeleteI love the idea of framing kids artwork and displaying it and of course you can keep changing it.
ReplyDeleteMe too, and definitely a plus that it can be changed without leaving any marks on the wall :)
DeleteThere are some great ideas, our artwork only makes it to the fridge!
ReplyDeleteSame here, plus the few stuck to the wall with blu-tac but hopefully going to try something different, like you say lots of great ideas out there :)
DeletePinterest rules for stuff like this :) I actually got our idea from 'Miffy The Artist' which my son loves and we just washi taped all his art onto his wall, we made a little garland / banner thing saying 'My Gallery' which was made from some of his paintings too, he loves it :D
