I had a very plain white lampshade on my lamp, so decided to give it a makeover with a crochet cover!
I used Stylecraft Special DK in shades white, silver and grey.
I measured the foundation row around the top of the lampshade, then did 2 rows of double crochet, followed by 24 rows of Granny stripe. The cover snugly fit onto the lampshade.
What do you think? I can see lots more of my lampshades getting a makeover!

DeleteAaah you clever thing!! I bought some crochet books last year and got totally obsessed with learning how to do it!! And then I ended up spending more time blogging and ended up not learning how to do it after all!! It's STILL on my 'do-to' bucket list! :) Thanks so much for linking up with #HomeEtc — hope to see you again tomorrow! x
